Wicked babies - 2023

In October 2023 I had the fantastic opportunity to manufacture 4 new green silicone babies for the Wicked theatre production tour.  The original babies had become worn and damaged after 10 years of use.  

For the purposes of making a new mould I firstly repaired and re sculpted the original. I then manufactured a two part GRP mould and used platinum cure silicone and a foam core to cast the babies.

I then painted the babies using a variety of silicone painting techniques including airbrushing and brush painting.
